My story isn’t unique when compared to many men. Perhaps the only unique portion is that the entirety of my life in sin was while I was a “member” of the church, though my church attendance was out of obligation until I made a choice to give myself completely and whole-heartedly to Christ. In honesty, I still need daily prayer and support as I battle against desires of the flesh, as Paul wrote in Romans 7:15, “For what I am doing, I do not understand. For what I will to do, that I do not practice, but what I hate, that I do.” Thankfully, I have Jesus in my corner fighting alongside me. Please always pray for me!

I must always remember God’s blessings, and what a blessing my family is. A beautiful wife, and four amazing kids! Brings lots of responsibility as a Christian man, as the Word says in Ephesians 5. In verses 23-31, Paul wrote about the responsibilities of the husbands and fathers to love their wives and families as Christ’ is the head and savior of the church. In such way, I am called to love my wife and care for my family in the same way.

It is my sincere hope to see more men in this age of sin at our fingertips to choose, love and follow Christ. For the men of my generation, my father’s generation, and my sons’ generation to also choose, love and follow Christ. As that happens we will see more and more families restored and won for the kingdom of Jesus!
