Take encouragement my friends, as we press into God he will never ignore our desires to be in relationship with Him.

I’m context, this verse was a response by the people of Israel after they were rebuked by God for falling into the temptations of wickedness.

God will honor our desire to seek Him, even if it comes following discipline from the Father. The best part is we aren’t required to be righteous to be in His presence. He’s the potter and we are the clay. Once we go to Him, He’s the one that will refine us. Don’t be discouraged in imperfections, but be joyful inthe glory of God it displays.
