Do not be quick with your mouth or impulsive in thought to bring up a matter in the presence of God. For God is in Heaven and you are on the earth; therefore let your words be few. – Ecclesiastes 5:2

Sometimes, I need a reminder of my place in this world, universe and God’s plan. Sometimes, I get ahead of myself. This verse is a pleasant reminder to me on who is really in charge, holds the power of life and death, and could draw my final breath at any moment.

The King of the universe holds all power and my life is in His hands. This is a reminder for humility, and a right mind, and to go to Him with few words of my own. Instead, to praise His name, seek His heart, and be thankful for all He has done for me and through me.
