But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be provided to you. – Matthew 6:33

Good morning everyone! I hope everyone had a fantastic holiday weekend, and those of us who celebrated America’s birthday and independence did so safely.

This week I’m going to focus on righteousness, and let that be my focus of the week. Doing so, this scripture spoken by Jesus, seems like a great starting verse for the week. A reminder that no matter what is going on, to seek His righteousness FIRST. If that’s not my priority, what priority could be greater?

Lord God, thank you for the gift of life this morning. Thank you Jesus for the salvation I know I have in you. Your greatness is far above my understanding and any passion I have. Lord give me thoughts of you from the moment I wake until My body lays to rest in the evening, and help me to seek your righteousness first and always. Keep my mind sharp, my tongue and hands clean, and let me be a blessing to all those around me for your glory. I pray all of this in your name Jesus, amen!
